Cassandra Beaumont

Mushroom culture is growing in the dark. I build the places where it connects.

I'm the creator of MYCO.SCENE — a living map of the people, places, and gatherings of mushroom culture — and host of Heal With Mushrooms, a podcast centering the women moving mycology forward.

the mission

I make things that feel alive in the dark.

Cassandra Beaumont, smiling outdoors in a gold leather jacket, wearing a sacred-geometry pendant.

Mushroom culture is expanding, but finding your way in can still feel surprisingly hard. The people are scattered. The gatherings are easy to miss. And too many of the women shaping the field stay at the edges of the story.

I'm here to change that.

I build the places where mushroom people find each other, and I make room for the stories carrying the field somewhere new. I'm also an artist, an herbalist and forager, and a longtime student of the sacred feminine.

There's a thread through all of it. I studied sociology at UC Santa Cruz, with an emphasis in sustainable living, and it's still the lens I see through — drawn less to fungi alone than to everything that grows up around them. How people gather. How knowledge moves. How a shared fascination becomes a culture — and how the right spaces make it easier to step inside.
